So, you want to know how you can get started with yoga if you’re a beginner? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Sweatshop Hot Yoga Studio we know a thing or two about Oconomowoc yoga and hot yoga. If you are a beginner and you’re interested in getting started with yoga there’s a handful of things that you can do to start your yoga and hot yoga journey. At Sweat shop Hot Yoga we like to think of ourselves as your one-stop-shop in getting started with yoga for beginners. If you are new to yoga there are a few different options of ways to get started.

First and foremost and probably our favorite solution is for you to give one of our classes at Sweatshop Hot Yoga a try. We have classes that are designed to be suitable for all student levels. So whether you’re a beginner, never tried yoga before, intermediate or an experienced Yogi, our class styles are suitable for all of these levels and everything in between. If you’re nervous about hopping in to just any run of the mill hot yoga class, a great way to get started would be with our basics hot yoga class. In this class we’lll take it nice and slow during this Oconomowoc yoga class. The purpose of this class is not to get in a workout, but start with some foundational poses. We’ll move through a lot of very common yoga poses nice and slow. The experienced instructor will be able to provide physical demonstration of the poses so that you can see what the poses look like and they’ll also walk you through the poses the entire time. We will never tell you to do a Warrior 2 or any other type of yoga pose and then expect you to know how to do it. We will talk you through step-by-step how to get into each pose and will also tell you the names of the poses so that you can become and start becoming more familiar and comfortable with them. Additionally, our experienced instructors will be able to provide you with verbal feedback and cues with simple statements such as extend your arms nice and long in both directions. These verbal cues will help you further understand the poses and move your body into the correct position.

We have plenty of 30-minute classes available for you to watch at any time, whenever is convenient for you and from the convenience of your home.

One of the reasons is that is that all of our classes are designed to be suitable for all class levels. One of the biggest concerns we hear from potential new yoga students is that they won’t know the poses or they won’t know what to do or they don’t want to look silly or be embarrassed around other people. Well we have a news flash for you. We were all new to yoga at some point. The great thing about yoga is that it’s not about being better than the person next to you but it’s kind of part of the yoga culture to help our fellow Yogi.
